Support UCRAF and UCRC on #GivingTuesday
We have dreams you may think are too big to consider

but over the past year, UCRAF and UCRC have made impressive progress towards those dreams!

Please continue reading about #GivingTuesday or visit our fundraising page HERE. A quick donation widget is also available at the bottom of the page!

With a $50 donation per alumni, friend, or family UCRAF could purchase a brand new top of the line Vespoli 4+, skinny oars, and coxbox or continue funding a full time professional coach!
At UCRC, our athletes are used to making the most out of a very tight budget. But they have big dreams!

With your donation, our athletes will be able to focus on building speed on the water and being excellent student athletes without the stress of wondering if they’ll be able to pay for regatta fees, equipment maintenance, USRowing dues, and more.

Whatever you choose to give, we appreciate your support. We couldn't continue to thrive with out it. After all...

We are... UC! We are... ONE TEAM!

What Is UCRAF?

The mission of University of Cincinnati Rowing Alumni and Friends (UCRAF) is to enable excellence for the UC Rowing Team, its athletes, and coaches by...

  • Connecting alumni and other supporters of UCRC.
  • Building relationships with current & former athletes, coaches, university administrators, and the local rowing community.
  • Raising funds to support the team and improve the rowing site.
  • Owning and managing the Kellogg Avenue marina.

Founded in 2015, UCRAF is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit. UCRAF has no paid employees. The organization is managed by a Board of Trustees. The UCRAF Advisory Board, composed of around 20 alumni volunteers, works in coordination with the Board of Trustees to carry out the work of the organization. This work includes but is not limited to maintaining the marina site, managing the alumni database, providing supports to the team as advised by the team's student executive board and coaches, and removing the burden of fundraising from our student-athletes.

Recent UCRAF projects include:
  • Paid off the Kellog Ave Rowing site which is now owned in full by UCRAF
  • Installed a multi-camera 4k security system at the rowing sire to increase athlete safety and protect equipment
  • Sculling riggers and oars to be used on existing fleet of pairs allowing for greater fleet flexibility
  • High functioning CRM and accounting software
  • Published the first UCRAF Newsletter
  • Set up payment methods through Zelle and Venmo (more to come soon)
  • Continued growth in the relationship between UCRC, UCRAF, and area rowing clubs
  • Beginning of a 10 year capital purchase plan
