Support UCRAF and UCRC on #GivingTuesday
The University of Cincinnati Rowing Club (UCRC) is starting a new and exciting chapter!

The team has been through some rough waters over the past few years. Thanks to the support of friends, family, an organized alumni foundation (UCRAF), and a new and enthusiastic coaching staff, UCRC continues to grow and bring new generations into the joys, challenges, and triumphs of collegiate rowing.

$1 Per Week UCRAF could purchase a brand new Hudson 8+ every year or reduce athlete dues by half and still support a team of up to 50 athletes!
At UCRC, our athletes are used to making the most out of a very tight budget. But they have big dreams!

With your donation, our athletes will be able to focus on building speed on the water and being excellent student athletes without the stress of wondering if they’ll be able to pay for regatta fees, equipment maintenance, USRowing dues, and more.

Whatever you choose to give, we appreciate your support. We couldn't continue to thrive with out it. After all...

We are... UC! We are... ONE TEAM!

What Is UCRAF?

The mission of University of Cincinnati Rowing Alumni and Friends (UCRAF) is to enable excellence for the UC Rowing Team, its athletes, and coaches by...

  • Connecting alumni and other supporters of UCRC.
  • Building relationships with current & former athletes, coaches, university administrators, and the local rowing community.
  • Raising funds to support the team and improve the rowing site.
  • Owning and managing the Kellogg Avenue marina.

Founded in 2015, UCRAF is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit. UCRAF has no paid employees. The organization is managed by a Board of Trustees. The UCRAF Advisory Board, composed of around 20 alumni volunteers, works in coordination with the Board of Trustees to carry out the work of the organization. This work includes but is not limited to maintaining the marina site, managing the alumni database, providing supports to the team as advised by the team's student executive board and coaches, and removing the burden of fundraising from our student-athletes.

Recent UCRAF projects include:
  • Successful fundraising campaign to support new coaching staff salaries for the next 2 years.
  • Seeking out, interviewing, and hiring a brand-new coaching staff.
  • Purchasing the marina, now named the Little Miami Paddle Sports Center (LMPSC), to ensure the UC rowing team always has a home base.
  • Dredging and reconstruction of launching and landing area.
  • Construction and anchoring of boat trees and shelters to allow all club 8+’s to be safely stored and provide adequate storage for clubs renting space at LMPSC.
  • Formulation, growth, and structuring of the UCRAF Advisory Board to further the support and development of the UCRC athletes and team.
