Rolf Linder - Director of Rowing / Men's Head Coach
Rolf was the first coach of the team when it was formed in the 1980's. He has had a long involvement with the sport as an athlete, coach and booster at schools/clubs including South Kent School (CT), Princeton University, and the Cincinnati Rowing Club. He is a founding member of the University of Cincinnati Rowing Alumni and Friends (UCRAF).
Geoff Dwyer - Men's Novice Coach
Coach Geoff rowed competitively for 4 years at George Mason University in Virginia. During his time there he served on the team executive board as President and Vice President. He also won the team's esteemed "Hammer" award for demonstrating significant speed on the erg (indoor rowing machine). Geoff has two years of high school coaching experience at Oakton High School in Virginia. Geoff still competes occasionally and is an avid indoor rower.
Bibi Reisdorf - Women's Head Coach
Bibi Reisdorf recently joined UC Rowing as new Women's Head Coach. She started rowing and coaching 10 years ago in Germany and has since rowed with and coached several crews at different levels across Germany, Switzerland, and Great Britain. After leaving competitive rowing at the University of Oxford in spring 2011 due to an injury, she shifted her focus to coaching part-time and has among others worked as assistant coach for the Oxford University Women's Lightweight Rowing Club, which won against Cambridge in the 2012 Henley Boat Races.
Martha Valentine - Women's Novice Coach
Coach Martha rowed her Junior and Senior years for Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She raced for two consecutive years following graduation at Master's Nationals. Martha has been assistant coaching for UC since spring of 2010.
