Coaching Experience

Marc has a significant amount of coaching experience as he spent 8 years in Spain coaching at the Reial club Maritim de Barcelona where he started as a club monitor and ended his time with the club as both Director and Head Coach in 2008. He went on to become the head coach at the Club Rem Badalona for 2 additional years.

During his career as a coach Marc has trained several athletes who have reached highly competitive levels as members of the Catalunya Regional Team and the Spanish National Team.


Rowing Experience

Marc was a rower in the Reial Club Maritim de Barcelona, where he won numerous medals at Regionals and Nationals during his career as a rower from 1994 through 2008.

In 1998 he went on to row for Catalunya until 2007 and rowed for Spain in the U23 World Championship in 1999, World Cup and Final Olympic Qualification in 2000, World Championship in 2001 and World Cup in 2002.

Marc earned a Biological Science degree at Barcelona University (UB), a PhD in Neuroscience from Barcelona Autonomous University (UAB), Post-Doc at University College of London (UCL), Post-Doc at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (CCHMC) and is currently employed at CCHMC as a Research Associate.
