UCRC’s Spring Season 2024

UCRC is back from winter break and we are ready for the upcoming season. As always, we start indoors at the Tanks for training, and we head back to the water starting on spring break. Every year, our main focus is to improve technique, become stronger, and drop our splits. When it's time to compete in a regatta, there are no breaks between meters. Every summer, the team finishes the season strong at ACRA, then they store the boats until the fall semester starts. While the Bearcats look forward to the summer for relaxation in the sun, they inevitably miss the adrenaline rush of rowing. On Monday, March 13th, the Bearcats packed their bags and drove down to Clemson, South Carolina to row on Clemson University's Lake Hartwell. For the last indoor race before returning to water, the team traveled to Columbus, Ohio on February 25th for Ohio State Indoors. Once again, the team has swept themselves into even better PRs.
