Every summer, the team finishes the season strong at ACRA, then they store the boats until the fall semester starts. While the Bearcats look forward to the summer for relaxation in the sun, they inevitably miss the adrenaline rush of rowing. On Monday, March 13th, the Bearcats packed their bags and drove down to Clemson, South Carolina to row on Clemson University's Lake Hartwell. For the last indoor race before returning to water, the team traveled to Columbus, Ohio on February 25th for Ohio State Indoors. Once again, the team has swept themselves into even better PRs. On Februray 4th, the team competed in the Cincinnati Indoor Erg Sprints with the Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club (CJ) and Cincinnati Rowing Club (CRC). We enjoyed pushing ourselves in a competitive setting, allowing many of the Bearcats to PR.
