After losing some of our athletes to their summer commitments we came together as best we could and meet huge success as a team in Georgia at the national championships. As a whole the women won the overall points for the small boat category and the team was listed as third for overall small boat points. Finishing second in their time trial and winning their semi final heat, the varsity women competed in the grand final and finished second inching ahead of Washington in the last 250m for a final time of  7:52.5. The women also competed in a double after advancing to semifinals and finished 3rd in B finals. The novice women met similar success after finishing first in their time trial and semi-final heat. They pulled a time of 7:55.5 in their final and finished 2nd overall finally meeting their goal to finish a 2k under 8 minutes. The men’s varsity team competed in a double and a pair. The pair advanced through time trials, finished 2nd in their semi final heat and took 8th in their A final. The double finished third in their time trial, took 2nd in their semifinal allowing them to advance to A finals where they finished 6th. The novice men competed in a four and a pair. The pair advanced through time trials, finished 8th in their semifinal heat and took 6th in their B final. The novice four competed in C finals and finished 6th.
