New Rankings on the Record Board

December 4, 2022

With the fall semester coming to an end, the Bearcats took their final 2K and 6K tests for the season. Almost the entire team got a PR on their 6K test and for our novices, experienced a 2K for the first time. These tests resulted in some rank changes on the record board! The first shoutout goes to Laura Moser, a freshman in her first season of rowing. With no previous 2K or sprinting experience, she took tenth on the record board for the Women's Novice 2000 Meters with a time of 8:04.0. We are excited to see how much she can improve in the Spring! The second shoutout goes to Nathan Damas, a fourth year who PR'd for the Men's 6000 Meters. Landing in tenth place on the record board, he shaved off just a few tenths of a second from the previous record with a time of 21:06.1. UCRC will rest up after finals and come back ready in January to start sprint work. The team looks forward to earning hardware at future regattas, especially ACRA!
