Owen Matthews

Owen joined rowing in the fall of 2023 as a freshman. In high school, he ran a business that helped him save money for college. At UC, he continues his pursuit of business with a major in entrepreneurship. As far as athletics, Owen likes to do outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. He gets even more involved with these as a member of the mountaineering club. In rowing, Owen hopes to get onto the novice record board and turn himself into fierce competition at the regattas. He also loves that friends he has made on the team.
